Liesbet Jansen, MD, CCFP is a highly experienced family physician with over 25 years in clinical practice, but more importantly, she understands what it means to care for women in a real, human way.

She completed her medical training at McMaster University and residency at University of Toronto, going on to practice in diverse settings — from New Zealand to northern Canada — before building a full family practice and hospitalist career in Toronto. Over time, like many of the women she now cares for, she made a conscious shift toward a slower, more meaningful life, relocating with her family and continuing her work in both hospital and community care. She has served as Chief of the inpatient unit at Stevenson Memorial Hospital and now focuses on home-based and palliative care.

In recent years, Liesbet has developed a deep passion for helping women navigate the often confusing and frustrating transition through menopause. She recognizes how many women feel dismissed, unheard, or left to "figure it out" on their own.

With advanced training in bioidentical hormone therapy — combined with her decades of clinical experience and personal insight — Liesbet brings a calm, thoughtful, and deeply supportive approach. Her focus is simple: helping women feel like themselves again — clear, steady, and in control of their health.
